Our view
Harry Bosch works two cases at once in “The Drop”, and Connelly’s writing keeps both of them moving. This is the fifteenth Bosch novel; some readers call it quick and gripping and like both storylines. Others rank it below the earlier books, or object to the weak female partners Bosch is given and to how few capable detectives surround him.
