Our view
Harry Bosch tells his own story for the first time in “Lost Light”, a strong ninth novel in the series. Some readers praise the steady pace and a plot whose turns keep them guessing. Bosch has left the LAPD, and others, who had worried about that change, found the book a convincing start to his life as a private investigator. Dark and tense, it holds the attention from first page to last.
