Our view
“The Overlook” moves fast and keeps the single-minded Harry Bosch at the centre of everything. In this thirteenth book of the series he goes his own way, with little patience for partner or colleagues. Some readers rank it among the weaker Bosch novels, and others find the supporting characters underdeveloped next to him.
