Our view
“Antrax” is a solid, adventurous middle volume in Terry Brooks’s “The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara”, part of the long Shannara cycle. Some readers count it among the better Shannara books they have read in some time and enjoy an unexpected streak of horror in the enemies the travellers meet. As the second book of a trilogy, it makes most sense after the first and to readers already at home in this world.
