Our view
“Lost in the Moment and Found” is a dark, moving entry in the “Wayward Children” series. Seanan McGuire’s eighth book follows Antsy, who escapes an abusive stepfather and stumbles into a shop where lost things end up. Some readers find it an uneasier read than other volumes, and others count a new twist in how the doors work among the series’ best ideas.
