Our view

The witch Morwen and her cats make “Calling on Dragons” a pleasure: a daft, good-natured quest. The third “Enchanted Forest Chronicles” book sends her after a stolen magic sword with returning friends Cimorene and Telemain and a rabbit named Killer who has swallowed more magic than is good for him. Some readers enjoy the story a little less than the first book’s while loving the company. Bumbling wizards supply the trouble and the comedy.
