Our view
For years “Twilight” closed Meg Cabot’s “The Mediator”, bringing the series’ ghosts and the heroine’s first love to a moving end. Time travel enters the story, and the mood turns tense as well as tender. Some readers come back to it again and again. As the sixth novel, it only makes sense after the five before it.
