“Ozma of Oz” brings Dorothy back for a short, gleefully odd adventure in which the yellow hen Billina steals the show. Baum’s third Oz book introduces a crowd of new characters, Tik-Tok among them, alongside the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion, and starts tying the earlier books together. At 118 pages it works well read aloud to children.
