Our view
“Kitty Takes a Holiday” is a third “Kitty Norville” novel for readers already fond of its werewolf heroine. Some enjoy its clever characters and a romance that stays on the tame side; others feel that little happens until the closing chapters and that the book splits between two threads. Readers on both sides are caught off guard by a sudden turn in the love story, and the way the locals are portrayed puts some off.
