Our view
“Kitty Goes to Washington” is an easygoing second volume of the “Kitty Norville” series, mixing a conspiracy plot with a few good laughs. Kitty herself, a werewolf with a late-night radio phone-in show, is the main draw. Opinions split on how it compares with the first book: some readers rank it higher, others a notch lower. The opening chapters strike some as slow, with the pace lifting in the second half.
