Our view
“Arcana Academy” is an inventive romantasy built on tarot magic, pairing a fake engagement with a plot against a tyrant. Jailed for illegally inking tarot cards, Clara Graysword wins her freedom by posing as Prince Kaelis’s bride-to-be at an elite academy, where the two plan to rob the king of a powerful card. Enemies-to-lovers tension gives it pull, and at just over six hundred pages it offers a long immersion.
