“Iceberg” is an early Dirk Pitt adventure that opens on a striking find: a long-missing luxury yacht locked inside a vast block of ice. Its crew lies burned aboard, and the only clue is a set of carved rings that draws Pitt into a conspiracy at sea. Some readers find it dated today, from the office technology to the dialogue. It is the second Pitt novel, written in the mid-1970s.
