Our view

“Homeland” is brisk, unpretentious sword-and-sorcery that tells how Drizzt Do’Urden grew up among the drow. Its action scenes are the main attraction and the hero is drawn well enough to carry them; some readers find the characters’ motives and the turns of the plot less convincing. Fast and dark, it follows him from the day he is born.
