Our view

The ending is what readers single out again and again in “Test of the Twins”, the last volume of the “Dragonlance Legends” trilogy. Wizardry and time travel bring the story of the twin brothers to a climactic finish. Some readers find the opening stretch familiar ground and the characters less than rounded. Some say the finale alone repays the time given to all three books.
