Changes

“Changes”, the twelfth Dresden Files novel, earns its title by overturning much of what the series had settled into. Butcher’s strengths are on full display, with fast action, quick dialogue and a personal motive that adds urgency. Some readers find Harry’s charm, especially the way women are drawn to him, starting to feel juvenile. Not a starting point, but an eventful volume that leaves those already invested eager for the next.
