Our view
In “Three to Get Deadly”, the “Stephanie Plum” series grows funnier and surer of itself. The third outing of the bounty hunter is a light mystery in which the jokes land and the plot feels fresh inside a familiar frame. Some readers single it out as the funniest so far; for some the pull is the unresolved attraction between Stephanie and Morelli. It reads comfortably straight after the first two.
