Our view
“Two for the Dough” is light, funny crime fiction, the second Stephanie Plum book, enjoyed for the bounty hunter’s voice. Readers laugh at her commentary and at Grandma Mazur, who brings comedy to a story set largely around a funeral home. Some find too many plots competing at once and the ending abrupt. Others reach for the series as relief between heavier books.
