Our view
“The Predator” is one of the stronger early Animorphs books, and the first told by Marco. He has stayed in the fight only reluctantly, but the discovery that his mother, believed dead, is held by the Yeerks changes everything for him. Some readers rank that revelation among the biggest turns of the series so far, and the change of narrator feels fresh. It is a quick, tense read that does not spare its young heroes.

About the book
