The Capture

“The Capture” is a dark, emotional Animorphs instalment built around one devastating event. Disguised as flies, the team slips into a new Yeerk base, and Jake ends up in the enemy’s pool and turns against his friends from within. Some readers find the plot thin until the last third, where that turn finally arrives; others are hit hard by how well it is handled. It matters most to readers following the series in order.
