Our view
“Midnight” gives “Warriors” a fresh start, opening “The New Prophecy” with new narrators and a journey far beyond the familiar territories. Some readers enjoy meeting cats from other Clans and praise the ending, though they find the travel chapters drawn out or the new narrators slow to settle in; others, fond of the first series, find this one mostly dull. It marks a new stage of the saga for young readers.
