Our view
“Destined” is a dark, emotional ninth volume of the “House of Night” series, written for readers already deep in the saga. P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast keep threads of grief, romance and scheming running side by side. Some readers find the first three quarters slow and the climax hurried. The last pages end on a cliffhanger.
