Our view

“The Reckoning” brings the “Darkest Powers” trilogy to its end with action, betrayals and romance. Some readers finish with questions still open, feeling that certain threads are cut off abruptly and that figures they expected never appear. Even so, some welcome how much more assured Chloe has become over the three books.
