The Princess Diaries

“The Princess Diaries” is a light, funny diary novel that lives on the voice of Mia, a naive schoolgirl who says exactly what she thinks. Some readers come to it for comfort and nostalgia; those who know the film will notice that the book goes its own way in places. This first volume wraps up neatly and still leaves plenty for the rest of the series.
