Our view
“The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns” is a warm, inventive sequel set once more in a world built from fairy tales. When the Enchantress kidnaps their mother, twins Alex and Conner Bailey defy their grandmother, the Fairy Godmother, to find their own way back. Some readers praise the villain and the way the tales interlock, while finding parts of the ending silly; others wish the twins faced trouble without outside rescue.
