Our view
“Season of Storms” is a return to the Witcher’s early, episodic adventures and not a continuation of the saga. It has the classic ingredients of those tales: a monster contract, quarrels with sorcerers, trouble at court, Dandelion at the hero’s side, and a closing pair of chapters that stands out. Because it is set among the stories of “The Last Wish”, it works best for those who know that book.
