Our view
“Our Share of Night” is a dark, absorbing horror novel that binds one family’s story to an occult society in Argentina. Mariana Enriquez moves across the decades between 1960 and 1997, bringing secrets, power and politics to light piece by piece. Some readers enjoy how the full picture emerges only gradually as the narrative passes from one character to another. At over six hundred pages, it suits readers who like horror shot through with politics.
