“Hexed” is fast, funny urban fantasy carried by its wisecracking druid hero and almost non-stop action. Some miss quieter scenes and more time with Oberon, the hero’s dog; some would like stronger female characters, or find a two-thousand-year-old druid occasionally careless for his age. Light, mythological fun, and as the second volume of its series best read after the first.
