Our view

“Dreams of Gods and Monsters” is a big, heartfelt finale to a trilogy of angels, demons, war and romance. Some readers say they could not guess where the story was heading and found the journey an emotional one. At over six hundred pages it gives the ending plenty of room, and it only makes sense to those who have read the two earlier volumes.
