Our view
“Cry Wolf” combines fast werewolf action with a gentle romance at its centre. Anna, an Omega who has lived for three years as the lowest member of her pack, must learn to trust Charles, a werewolf with few equals in the country, while a witch threatens them in the wilderness. Some readers feel lost in the opening chapters unless they have read the novella that introduces the pair, and some wanted less detail about the witch’s cruelty.

About the book
Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack…and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’d learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country is about to recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.
