Olivie Blake best books, ranked

Olivie Blake — 2 titles in the rankings, first published between 2020 and 2025. They average 7.4, below the 7.8 the whole catalogue averages. One series has a reading order worth keeping to.

Editor’s note Pen name of the American writer Alexene Farol Follmuth. The Atlas Six, first self-published and then a social-media sensation, is dark academia fantasy: six exceptional young magicians are recruited by the secretive Alexandrian Society, keepers of the lost knowledge of the Library of Alexandria, but only five will be initiated. Stylish and talky, heavy on philosophy and morally grey characters, it divides readers sharply and rates low for so popular a book. Her newer standalone rates higher.
