Our view
“Win” is a dark, character-driven thriller that hands Windsor Horne Lockwood III, Myron Bolitar’s rich and mysterious sidekick, a novel of his own. Harlan Coben tells it in Win’s first-person voice, which lets readers of the Bolitar books spend the whole story inside his head. Some readers find the character as compelling as ever but the plot only middling by Coben’s usual standard.
