Our view
“Tuesday” is a wordless picture book of rare wit, in which David Wiesner lets the pictures carry the whole story. One evening, frogs lift off on their lily pads and float through town, and the panels, laid out much like a comic, make the strange night easy to follow. Winner of the 1992 Caldecott Medal, it works well for sharing with children who cannot yet read.
