Our view
“Think Like a Freak” turns the “Freakonomics” method on thinking itself, using the authors’ usual stories to show how to question the obvious. Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner stay witty, and some readers find it refreshing to be reminded how unexpectedly people behave. Others find it more theoretical than its two predecessors, and some feel it offers nothing really new. Fans of the earlier books are its natural audience.
