Our view

John Grisham’s “The Litigators” is a wry legal novel with an appealing premise and characters who are easy to like. Wally Figg and Oscar Finley, partners in a small firm, see a fortune in a class action over Krayoxx, a cholesterol pill blamed for heart attacks. Some readers, however, find the pace slow, the sarcasm wearing and much of the material reheated from the author’s earlier books.
