Our view

“Talon of the Silver Hawk” gives Feist’s world a new hero and a clear, easily followed story of revenge. It opens the “Conclave of Shadows” trilogy within “The Riftwar Cycle”; familiar figures such as Pug appear only briefly while Talon holds the centre. Some readers find it a slight book, of interest mainly to those who already know Feist’s earlier novels. The story continues in “King of Foxes”.
