Our view
“Stranger than Fiction” gathers Chuck Palahniuk’s journalism, essays and interviews, and it reads differently from the rest of his work. The pieces fall into three parts: reports on people who find odd ways of coming together, portraits and interviews largely of famous figures, and autobiographical writing. Some readers find most of the pieces interesting yet the whole hard to get through; taking one section at a time is a way round that.
