Our view

In “Fever Pitch”, one supporter’s passion for football becomes a funny, light way of telling a life. Nick Hornby subtitled the first edition “A Fan’s Life”, and the book lives up to it, reading his own story through the fortunes of his team. The book is short, under 250 pages, hopeful in tone, and speaks first to anyone who has ever followed a team.
