Our view
“Mechanicum” takes “The Horus Heresy” to Mars, telling of the civil war that splits the Mechanicum and gives birth to its dark counterpart. It is the first story devoted wholly to the Adeptus Mechanicum, the mysterious order behind the Imperium’s war machines. For some readers it takes too long to become meaningful; for others the people inside the machinery stay out of focus.
