Our view
“Identity Crisis” is a dark, carefully paced superhero murder mystery that sets the heroes of the DC Universe against one another. Brad Meltzer turns a killing within the heroes’ own circle into a story of secrets and divided loyalties, and Rags Morales’s art suits its gritty tone. Some readers find a few plot points illogical and one instance of sexual violence unnecessary. It suits readers who like superheroes in a noir key.
