Our view

“Heir of Novron” is the strongest of the three Riyria Revelations volumes and ends the story on a real crescendo. Its twists surprise without feeling arbitrary, old secrets are finally explained, and readers consistently describe the conclusion as satisfying. Some find the first half a little long before the last two hundred pages take over. Royce and Hadrian’s adventures should be read in order; this is no place to begin.
