Our view
“Fifty Shades Freed” is a finale for readers already invested in Anastasia and Christian, not a place to begin. It takes the couple into marriage and gives the trilogy its closure, which is what its audience comes for. At over six hundred pages it is long, and some readers find the plot predictable and the erotic scenes repetitive by this point.
