Our view

“Enemy of God” makes Cornwell’s Arthurian trilogy darker and more dangerous without softening its harsh, unsentimental view of the legend. In the second book of “The Warlord Chronicles”, Arthur’s story is again told by his follower Derfel Cadarn, through hard-fought battles and painful losses. Some readers find a little more magic here than in “The Winter King”.
