Our view
“1632” is a big-hearted, history-minded adventure in which a modern American small town is thrown back into the Europe of 1632. Eric Flint turns the premise into a story about community and resilience, with plenty of real history woven into the plot. Some readers find the pace drifts at times, and the book does not win everyone over.
