  • Charlie N. Holmberg’s gentle fantasy set in an Edwardian London where magicians bond to one material.
  • Ceony Twill wanted to work with metal but is assigned to paper, under the eccentric Emery Thane, and when his heart is stolen she has to go, quite literally, inside it.
  • Light, romantic and quick to read; ratings are modest.
  • Read the first three in order; The Plastic Magician is a spin-off with a new heroine.
