  • Epic fantasy in an African-inspired land where a rigid caste system decides who may fight: Tau, a lesser-born young man, trains obsessively to become a great swordsman and take revenge.
  • It began self-published before a major publisher took it up.
  • The Rage of Dragons is the start and the only volume here with enough ratings; it rates very highly.
