- The Keep, the one with enough ratings, sends a German army unit in 1941 to guard a mountain fortress in Romania where soldiers start dying one by one, and a Jewish scholar is brought in to name what they woke.
- Each book works alone until Nightworld, which brings the cast together, including Repairman Jack from The Tomb, the second book, not listed here.
