Our view

“Utopia” is a short account of an imagined island society that still makes readers think about money and equality. It is framed as a conversation, and some readers find the speakers long-winded and the argument hard to follow. Others come away wondering whether a society without money is as attractive in practice as in theory. Its 176 pages are for anyone curious about political thought dressed as satire.
