Our view

“The Sittaford Mystery” is a light, easy Christie with a twist at the end that is hard to see coming. Published in 1931, and in the United States as “The Murder at Hazelmoor”, it is a compact puzzle of a little over two hundred pages. Some readers find the motive behind the crime hard to make sense of. An uncomplicated mystery for an evening or two.
