Our view

“The Secret History of Twin Peaks” is a rewarding treat for devoted fans, built as a dossier on the town’s past and its strange phenomena. Letters and reports fill in the backstory of characters and events, yet some readers close it with more questions than they started with. For some it works better as an audiobook, while others preferred the mystery left intact. Anyone who has not seen the show may struggle to follow it.
