Our view
“The Bourne Ultimatum”, the last Jason Bourne thriller Ludlum wrote himself, is a book for readers who know the first two. At 720 pages it is a long spy novel of assassins and revenge. Some readers find the plot overstuffed and far-fetched and rank it the weakest of the three, with a resolution that disappoints them.
